Revenue for the quarter was up 25% year-over-year at $3.3 billion, ahead of Wall Street estimates of $3.15 billion.

The ride-hailing app reported an 18% year-over-year increase in revenue to $12.65 billion, slightly ahead of Wall Street estimates of $12.47 billion.

Shares of Shopify Inc (TSX:SH., NYSE:SHOP) jumped more than 20% on Wednesday after the Canadian e-commerce giant posted second-quarter results that beat Wall Street estimates and raised its outlook for the current quarter, driven by growth in global merchant activity and platform monetization.

Second-quarter revenue rose 31% to $2.68 billion, topping analysts’ average estimate of $2.54 billion, while gross merchandise volume (GMV) – a key measure of transaction activity across the platform – climbed 30.6% to $87.8 billion.

Rivian Automotive Inc (NASDAQ:RIVN) stock fell almost 5% in after-hours trading after the electric vehicle maker reported mixed second-quarter results and widened its full-year loss forecast.

The company now expects an adjusted EBITDA loss of $2 billion to $2.25 billion for 2025, up from a previous range of $1.7 billion to $1.9 billion, citing policy headwinds including new tariffs and the looming expiry of EV tax credits.
