Asian Battery Metals (ASX: AZ9) has officially resumed its Phase 3 drilling at the Yambat tenement in Mongolia — following a brief pause to complete ground-based electromagnetic surveys.
The recommenced program is targeting high-priority conductivity plates identified from recent SAMSON survey results — with drilling focused across the Oval, North Oval, South, and MS1 areas. These zones are expected to provide valuable structural information and guide further exploration work.
Looking ahead, the company has a busy few months planned, including ongoing downhole electromagnetic testing throughout August and September — as well as additional fixed-loop EM surveys, scheduled to wrap mid-August.
