Just The Facts: Aurum lifts Boundiali gold resource

Just The Facts: Aurum lifts Boundiali gold resource

Aurum Resources (ASX: AUE) has significantly increased the JORC Mineral Resource Estimate at its Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire — now standing at 2.41 million ounces of gold, a 50% increase from previous estimates.

This brings the company’s total group resources, including the Napié Project, to 3.28 million ounces. The upgrade includes deposits across six target areas, with drilling ongoing to drive further growth.

A key highlight is a 362% jump in the Indicated Resource component — up to 600,000 ounces. Meanwhile, high-grade Inferred resources continue to grow, including 400,000 ounces at 2.0 grams per tonne at BMT3.

Aurum's managing director Dr. Caigen Wang said: "Development plans for Boundiali are being advanced through the PFS which is on track for completion by the end of CY2025. This, combined with our strong financial position, demonstrates our commitment to delivering on our objectives of resource expansion and creating significant value for our shareholders".

The company is well-funded, with nearly $47 million in cash and equity, and is advancing a 100,000-metre drill program through 2025.
