The company reported earnings per share of $0.12, significantly below estimates of $1.49.
Moderna Inc (NASDAQ:MRNA, ETR:0QF) shares fell almost 9% in early trade as the pharmaceutical giant lowered its full-year guidance and announced a workforce reduction, overshadowing a Q2 earnings beat.
The company lowered its 2025 revenue outlook by $300 million to a range of $1.5 billion to $2.2 billion, attributed to shipment timing.
Reddit (NYSE:RDDT) shares popped more than 17% premarket as the social media platform’s second quarter earnings crushed Wall Street estimates.
Revenue surged 78% year-over-year to $500 million, ahead of estimates of $426.5 million.
Melrose Industries PLC (LSE:MRO, OTC:MLSPF) shares jumped as much as 7%, topping the FTSE 100 leader board, after the aerospace and defence specialist reassured markets by maintaining full-year guidance despite currency headwinds and tariff uncertainty.
Revenue rose 6% on a like-for-like basis to £1.72 billion, while adjusted operating profits surged 29% to £310 million, supported by margin improvements in both its Engines and Structures divisions.
