ECR Minerals PLC (AIM:ECR) has announced that Mike Whitlow has stepped down as managing director with immediate effect to focus on other business commitments.
Whitlow will remain involved with the company as a consultant to assist with the transition and provide strategic advice.
ECR told investors it plans to strengthen its management team with additional experienced professionals in the coming months.
''I extend my heartfelt thanks to Mike Whitlow for his transformative contributions, first as chief operating officer and later as managing director,” said ECR chair Nick Tulloch.
“Since joining in September 2023, Mike has been instrumental in turning ECR around from a challenging position to a company with a robust portfolio of high-potential natural resource opportunities, particularly at the Blue Mountain Project.
“His leadership in revitalising our investor relations has been pivotal, and we're delighted that he will continue to support us, both in a consulting capacity and as a significant shareholder."
