The S&P/ASX 200 ended Friday in the red, declining 80.80 points or 0.92% to finish at 8,662.00. Bellevue Gold Limited and Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited led the losses, falling 4.32% and 4.28% respectively. Despite the sharp daily drop, the benchmark index was broadly flat over the week, remaining just 1.30% below its 52-week high.
The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Index also posted a weaker performance, shedding 18.20 points or 0.55% to close at 3,320.10. Over the past five sessions, the index is down 1.05%. We take a breath at the end of the small cap quarterly reporting season. Here's a recap below.
