Antipa Minerals (ASX: AZY) has reported more strong results from Phase 1 drilling at its 100%-owned Minyari Gold-Copper Project in WA’s Paterson Province — including step-out hits confirming meaningful extensions to known mineralisation.
The company also unveiled new gold-copper zones south of Fiama and Rizzo, with one hole hitting 60 metres at 0.4 grams per tonne of gold and 0.15% copper from just 4 metres — including a section grading 4.4% copper.
These results come from the second batch of assays from Phase 1, which covered 304 holes across 34,000 metres of drilling. Results from the remaining 194 holes are due in Q3.
Antipa’s Managing Director, Roger Mason said: "With results from Phase 1 drilling continuing to deliver on both discovery and resource growth fronts, Phase 2 drilling set to commence in the coming weeks, and our Pre-feasibility Study advancing in parallel, we look forward to updating our shareholders with a steady stream of news through the remainder of this year".
Phase 2 drilling is set to kick off mid-August and will include up to 35,000 metres focused on both resource growth and new discoveries.
