C3 Metals strengthens technical team with new chief geologist

C3 Metals Inc (TSX-V:CCCM, OTC:CARCF) announced that it has strengthened its technical team with the appointment of Dr Stephanie Sykora as chief geologist.

Dr Sykora holds a PhD in Geology from the University of Tasmania, Australia, and a BSc with distinction in Earth Sciences from the University of Victoria, Canada. Her doctoral research focused on the Lihir (Ladolam) alkalic epithermal gold deposit in Papua New Guinea.

C3 Metals highlighted that Dr Sykora brings more than 10 years of exploration experience with both major and junior mining companies.

Dr Sykora has previously worked with First Quantum Minerals on porphyry copper exploration in South America and Australia, and with Teck Resources in British Columbia, including at Highland Valley Copper.

She has also operated as an independent consultant for companies across North and Central America and currently serves as a technical advisor to Kingfisher Metals.

Her areas of expertise include field mapping, project generation, structural geology, and alteration studies in porphyry and epithermal systems.

"We are thrilled to have Stephanie join the C3 Metals team. Having engaged her as a consultant previously, we know first-hand her passion for discovery and her extraordinarily strong technical skill set,” C3 Metals CEO Dan Symons said in a statement.

“She will provide valuable depth to our technical team, as we intend to have three separate projects with drills turning during the second half of 2025 – all of which is fully funded."

Dr Sykora expressed excitement about joining C3 Metals at what she described as a dynamic time for the company.

“After working with the C3 Metals team as a consultant, and getting to know the corporate culture, the people and the project portfolio, I believe the chances for a meaningful discovery are high,” Dr Sykora said.

In connection with her appointment, the company’s board has granted Dr Sykora 100,000 stock options under its shareholder-approved stock option plan. The options vest over 12 months and are exercisable at C$0.70 per share for a term of five years.
