AuMEGA Metals (ASX: AAM) is advancing one of its most ambitious exploration programs to date across both the Cape Ray Project and Bunker Hill in Newfoundland, Canada.
At the Cape Ray Project, the company has now completed a 2,560-metre diamond drilling program across nine holes — targeting both extensions to existing resources and newly identified anomalies. Initial assay results from those are expected from mid-August.
At Bunker Hill, winter drilling has confirmed gold mineralisation in key fault structures, and a large-scale till sampling campaign of approximately 3,800 samples is set to begin to guide upcoming drilling in Q3 and Q4.
Meanwhile, at Hermitage, AuMEGA is launching its most extensive exploration effort yet — with more than 1,700 geochemical till samples planned to refine drill targets across high-grade anomalies.
AuMEGA Metal’s managing director and CEO, Sam Pazuki said: "I’m genuinely excited about what lies ahead. We have an incredible team under new technical leadership, a strong treasury that allows us to execute this program, and a committed shareholder base that supports doing exploration the right way–with discipline, purpose, and the ambition to make real discoveries.”
