EnWave sells two more REV machines to Dairy Concepts Ireland

EnWave Corp (TSX-V:ENW, OTC:NWVCF) has announced the sale of two additional 10kW Radiant Energy Vacuum (REV) dehydration machines to Dairy Concepts Ireland (DCI).

These are the fifth and sixth REV units acquired by the Ireland-based company, which holds an exclusive license to use EnWave’s proprietary drying technology to produce specific dairy snacks in the UK.

According to the company, DCI uses EnWave’s REV technology to dry Irish cheese into crunchy snacks that are high in protein and calcium.

Its CheeseOs range is made from mild cheddar and seasoned in familiar flavours such as salt and vinegar and cheese and onion. The Moorepark line features premium offerings using specialty cheeses like chilli cheddar and black pepper cheddar.

EnWave said that DCI’s snacks have seen strong market performance, particularly in the UK. Notably, its recent strong performance in the major British retailer Marks and Spencer has led to additional distribution opportunities.
