Solis Minerals IP survey identifies priority copper-gold drill targets at Cinto

Solis Minerals Ltd (ASX:SLM, TSX-V:SLMN, OTCQB:SLMFF) has defined three copper-gold drill targets at its 100%-owned Cinto Project in southern Peru following an Induced Polarisation (IP) geophysical survey. The anomalies — aligned with earlier geochemistry and magnetometry — provide strong support for a maiden drilling campaign in the December quarter of 2025. Permitting is now underway via Peru’s streamlined Ficha Technica Ambiental (FTA) process.

The company is concurrently progressing its copper-gold drilling activities at Chancho al Palo and soon at Ilo Este, enhancing its multi-project growth pipeline in Peru’s porphyry-rich terrain.

“The IP survey at Cinto has validated our confidence in the project and contributed significantly to our understanding of the mineralised system we have observed at surface,” Solis CEO Mitch Thomas said.

“The combination of IP chargeability and resistivity anomalies, combined with our previous magnetic surveys, mapping, and rock geochemistry, provide a strong basis for a drilling programme planned for Q4 2025. Exploration at Cinto complements copper-gold drilling underway at Chancho al Palo and a program that will start shortly at Ilo Este. We believe these projects provide multiple opportunities for positive share price catalysts. Drill permitting under Peru’s accelerated FTA process has commenced.”

Integrated data reveals large-scale anomalies

The IP survey comprised eight lines totalling 16.2 kilometres, with data collected at 100-metre dipole and 200-metre line spacing.

Processing and inversion modelling revealed two distinct chargeability anomalies up to four times background levels and notable resistivity contrasts.

These anomalies align with northwest–southeast structures of the Incapuquio Fault Zone — believed to control mineralisation — and correlate with previously identified low magnetic responses and outcropping copper breccias.

Together, these geophysical signatures provide a comprehensive understanding of the subsurface and guide the selection of priority targets.

Three priority targets defined for maiden drilling

Solis Minerals has defined three high-priority targets:

  • Target A: A chargeability high with coincident phyllic alteration and low magnetic response, located northwest of geochemical Channels 1–4, which included assays up to 23.4 metres at 0.88% copper.
  • Target B: Phyllic alteration and low magnetic response underlying Channels 1–4.
  • Target C: Similar geophysical characteristics underlying breccias at Channels 6–10, with results such as 16.8 metres at 0.52% copper.

Additional zones are under evaluation based on field validation of geophysical anomalies.

Next steps: Permitting and drill mobilisation

Solis is progressing with the following actions ahead of its Q4 2025 drill program at Cinto:

  • Finalising drill permitting under the accelerated FTA process for up to 20 drill pads;
  • Appointing a drilling contractor;
  • Mobilising equipment and preparing pads upon permit approval; and
  • Initiating drilling operations.

These activities align with Solis’ broader regional strategy to unlock value across its Peruvian copper portfolio, particularly in the Cenozoic Porphyry Belt near the Toquepala Copper Mine.
