Aferian PLC (AIM:AFRN) reported a 36% rise in revenue to $16.6 million for the six months ended 31 May 2025, driven by a near-doubling of sales in its devices-focused unit Amino.
The B2B video streaming solutions group posted an adjusted EBITDA profit of $1.7 million, reversing a $2.4 million loss in the same period last year. The turnaround was attributed to revenue growth and prior cost restructuring.
Segment results showed Amino revenue climbing 94% year-on-year to $9.3 million due to strong sales execution across Pay TV and enterprise markets. 24i revenue held steady at $7.4 million, with new wins offsetting customer churn.
“The momentum we established in the second half of last year has continued into H1 2025,” said chief executive Mark Carlisle.
“We now expect full-year revenues to be approximately 20% ahead of FY24.”
Net debt stood at $14.6 million as of 31 May, up from $12.7 million at November’s year-end. The company noted ongoing discussions to refinance its existing bank facilities, which mature at the end of September 2025.
In London, Aferian shares rose 4.6% at 3.4p, having changed hands as high as 3.5p in opening deals.
