Uranium American CEO talks US assets & new ticker launch – IYCMI

Uranium American Resources Inc. (OTC:UARI) CEO William Hunter talked with Proactive about the company’s recent rebrand and its new strategic direction, including the adoption of the OTC ticker symbol UARI.

Hunter explained that the rebranding effort has been in the works for several months and aligns with the company’s transition to focus more sharply on uranium exploration and eventual production.

"We're looking forward to really rebranding as a, you know, an exploration uranium company and hopefully getting to being a producer in the mid-term," he told Proactive.

He outlined the company’s ongoing efforts to acquire three uranium and vanadium assets in the western United States. These include the open-pit Marysvale asset, the Sky project, and 19 smaller historic mines along the Colorado–Utah border, known collectively as State Line. The company plans to prioritise State Line given its prior production history and encouraging uranium grades.

Hunter also noted broader industry dynamics, citing rising demand for baseload power and growing emphasis on North American-sourced uranium as a strategic imperative supported by the US administration.
