Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF) has announced an expansion of its event technology platform MapD into an AI Event Technology Suite.
The company has migrated MapD to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and launched a new mobile app with advanced features, including AI matchmaking, augmented reality navigation, and cryptocurrency payments, it said on Thursday.
The mobile app is now live on both iOS and Android and combines exhibitor booths, schedules, floor maps, and user engagement in one unified interface.
With the addition of stablecoin payments via USDC and USDT, MapD aims to improve global accessibility and streamline business transactions between attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors.
A proprietary AI matchmaking engine within the app provides personalized recommendations for sessions, networking opportunities, and exhibitors based on user interests and behavior, according to Nextech3D.ai.
Augmented reality (AR) navigation, powered by ARway’s spatial computing, allows users to access interactive maps and real-time wayfinding across event venues.
Event organizers can send live updates, schedule changes, and targeted promotions through the app to enhance attendee engagement.
The platform also provides real-time performance metrics to help organizers and sponsors optimize campaigns and measure return on investment.

Nextech3D.ai cited industry data showing 91% of event planners report positive ROI from mobile apps, with events using them seeing up to 42% more attendee engagement. More than 64% of organizers reportedly ranked mobile apps as their top event technology priority.
MapD currently supports over 500 annual events, 50,000 exhibitors, and more than 1 million attendees.
