AJ Bell PLC (LSE:AJB) reported net platform inflows of £2.5 billion, adding 27,000 new customers to bring its total customer base to 620,000.
Assets under administration rose 6% in the quarter to £96.1 billion, supported by strong market performance and continued investment in customer propositions.
The company said underlying gross inflows reached £4 billion, up from £3.7 billion a year earlier. Direct-to-consumer (D2C) customers grew 6% quarter-on-quarter to 440,000, while advised customers rose 2% to 180,000.
Assets under management increased 8% to £8.1 billion, with £0.4 billion in net inflows during the period.
"I am pleased to report a quarter of record-breaking growth for the business, with our dual-channel platform delivering our strongest ever quarterly net inflows of £2.5 billion and attracting over 25,000 new customers," said chief executive Michael Summersgill.
The firm has launched AJ Bell Touch, which is designed to be a simplified advised platform to support advisers in addressing the UK’s advice gap.
