Reach PLC (LSE:RCH) reported a 1.8% increase in digital revenue for the six months ended 30 June 2025, reaching £61.1 million, despite a 3.4% drop in overall revenue to £256.0 million.
The Mirror and regional news publisher said print revenue declined 4.8% to £194.1 million, though print circulation and advertising outperformed volume trends.
Adjusted operating profit for the period edged up 0.6% to £44.8 million, with an improved margin of 17.5%. Statutory operating profit fell 19.1% to £29.7 million.
The group highlighted growth in audience volumes and stronger indirect digital revenues, up 9.2%, while direct digital revenues declined 7.9%.
"Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for our business, as we launch the priorities that will fuel our growth," said chief executive Piers North.
"These include initiatives to reach new audiences, increase our video content and accelerate our tech and AI capabilities."
