Wickes Group PLC (LSE:WIX) reported a 5.6% increase in group revenue to £847.9 million for the six months to 28 June 2025, supported by volume-led growth in both Retail and Design & Installation.
Retail sales grew 6.8%, while Design & Installation rose 2.1%, returning to positive like-for-like growth in the second quarter.
TradePro sales climbed 10% year-on-year, with active members increasing to 615,000.
The company opened two new stores during the period and plans up to seven in total for the year, while continuing to invest in technology and productivity. Wickes currently operates 229 stores across the UK.
“In the first half of the year we have gone from strength to strength, with increased sales and record market share,” said chief executive David Wood.
“Retail sales have grown again, driven by volumes, as more people shop with us, both in-store and online.
"In Design & Installation, the actions we took to improve the customer proposition are driving project order volumes and as a result we have returned to sales growth.”
