Dynamic Metals (ASX: DYM) reported strong results at its Cognac West gold prospect from Phase 2 drilling - which confirmed both gold and copper mineralisation — and point to a promising polymetallic system.
Cognac West has seen growing momentum, especially around surface anomalies A and B. Key intercepts include 8 metres at 2.78 grams per tonne gold, and 5 metres at 0.44% copper — both from just 60 metres downhole.
Dynamic Metals has also identified sulphide minerals like chalcopyrite and cobaltite — suggesting a more complex mineral system with serious upside.
Managing Director Karen Wellman said: "We are particularly encouraged by the polymetallic signature and the opportunity to integrate new geophysical modelling into our exploration strategy.”
It’s a busy quarter ahead, and Dynamic is now reprocessing historic EM survey data to better understand a conductive feature beneath Anomaly B — while continuing soil sampling at its Courvoisier prospect and preparing new drill targets at Chalice South for Q3.
