Caledonia Mining Corporation PLC (AIM:CMCL, NYSE-A:CMCL, VFEX:CMCL) told investors it expects to report a profit for its second quarter, ended June 30, with the gold miner’s performance said to be materially better than expected.
It builds on a strong result in the first quarter.
"We were pleased with the excellent production results,” chief executive Mark Learmonth said in a statement.
“Combined with a robust and sustained gold price, we are enjoying strong profitability.
“This reflects the hard work and dedication of the team at Blanket Mine and at group level, which we have strengthened significantly in recent times."
Caledonia will announce its Q2 2025 and H1 2025 results on 11 August.
