Aurum Resources Ltd (ASX:AUE) has delivered a strong quarterly update, showcasing continued high-grade gold discoveries and progress on the development front at its Boundiali and Napié Gold Projects in Côte d'Ivoire, with positive drilling results and the commencement of a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) at Boundiali. The period ending June 30, 2025, saw further high-grade results from both resource expansion and exploration drilling at Boundiali, as the company works towards updated Mineral Resource Estimates (MRE) at both projects.
High-grade results from Boundiali drilling bolster resource growth potential
At the Boundiali Gold Project, a flagship 1.59-million-ounce (Moz) asset, drilling at the BDT1 deposit returned several notable high-grade intercepts, including 89 metres (m) at 2.42g/t gold from 213m, highlighted by 7m at 14.46g/t gold and 6m at 9.01g/t gold (DSDD0150). Aurum is confident that these results will enable a qualitative and quantitative upgrade to the resource at BDT1, with further drilling underway.

In addition, drilling at the BDT3 prospect, which lies outside the current MRE, showed strong results, including 22.71m at 4.78g/t gold from 177.59m, and a standout 5.41m at 12.66g/t gold within this intercept (DSDD0162). These results are expected to be incorporated into the upcoming MRE update for Boundiali.

Further exploration at the Boundiali BM tenement has returned additional high-grade intercepts, including 24.35m at 1.21g/t gold from 40m, with a standout 12m at 6.66g/t gold from 69m (MBDD190). These results further extend the BMT3 resource and are expected to contribute to the upcoming resource update, scheduled for the September quarter.

Boundiali development plans on track
As part of its broader strategy to move Boundiali towards production, Aurum has also commenced a PFS for the project, expected to be completed by the end of 2025. Environmental and social impact studies are already underway, led by Côte d'Ivoire-based specialist EnvTech.
The company has also begun public awareness campaigns to promote the potential development of the Boundiali Gold Project into a large-scale modern open-pit mining operation.
Napié drilling program to expand resources
Aurum has also made significant strides at its Napié Gold Project, which currently holds a 0.87Moz MRE. The company initiated a 30,000m drilling program in June 2025 aimed at growing this resource.

Previous results from Napié have already demonstrated the high-grade potential of the project, including 41m at 4.51g/t gold from 17m, and 32m at 7.10g/t gold from 13m.
The drilling campaign will continue to test both known gold zones and new, untested targets within the 30-km-long Napié shear. An updated MRE for Napié is expected by the end of 2025.
Corporate developments and strong cash position
On the corporate front, Aurum announced a successful $35.6 million private placement in May 2025, which shareholders approved in July. The company now holds a strong cash position of $46.9 million, bolstered by the placement funds and proceeds from its sale of Montage Gold Corp shares.
These funds will support the ongoing exploration activities at Boundiali and Napié, as well as the continued progression of development studies and permitting processes.
Looking ahead
With a robust drilling program underway and development studies progressing, Aurum Resources is well-positioned to continue its growth trajectory in Côte d'Ivoire. The company remains on track to complete two MRE updates in 2025 and to advance the Boundiali Gold Project towards pre-feasibility and, eventually, production. The results from this quarter further reinforce the potential for substantial resource growth and project development at both Boundiali and Napié.
As exploration drilling continues at Boundiali and Napié, and with strategic corporate developments unfolding, Aurum Resources is setting the stage for an active second half of 2025.
