Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd (TSX-V:GMG, OTCQX:GMGMF) has added engineering academic Professor Emeritus Doug Hargreaves AM to its Technical Advisory Committee, the company said Monday.
Hargreaves, a professor emeritus at Queensland University of Technology and a member of the Order of Australia, brings decades of engineering expertise and industry connections. He previously served as National President of Engineers Australia and is currently Executive Officer of the Australian Council of Engineering Deans.
The addition of Hargreaves bolsters a committee that already includes Bob Galyen, former chief technology officer at Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd (CATL), the world’s largest lithium-ion battery maker.
“We welcome Doug to the global GMG team and we look forward to his valuable insights and working with him as we bring GMG's novel product portfolio to various industries around the world,” said Craig Nicol, GMG’s managing director and CEO.
Galyen added: “I look forward to your valuable contribution to the Technical Advisory Committee and help supporting the commercialisation of GMG's world leading products.”
Graphene Manufacturing Group, based in Australia, is developing graphene-based aluminum-ion batteries and other energy-saving technologies.
