Tertiary Minerals PLC (AIM:TYM, OTC:TTIRF) shares rose 5% after the company announced it has started a fresh drilling campaign at Target A1 on its Mushima North project in Zambia.
The new programme will see up to 1,500 metres of air core and reverse circulation drilling to build on promising results from late 2024, where earlier holes uncovered significant silver, copper and zinc mineralisation.
Previous drilling at Target A1 delivered notable intersections, including 57 metres at 25 grams per tonne silver, 0.20% copper and 0.15% zinc, as well as 65 metres at 23 grams per tonne silver, 0.14% copper and 0.27% zinc.
The latest phase aims to test both the size and depth of these finds, as well as explore further along a 1.6-kilometre strike.
Located just 28 kilometres from the historic Kalengwa copper-silver mine, Mushima North sits within a highly prospective region. Tertiary will update the market as results come in.
The shares rose 0.0018p to 0.036p.
