Anthropic valuation reportedly tops $100B

Anthropic has reportedly reached a valuation of more than $100 billion, according to a Bloomberg report published on Wednesday.

The figure represents a significant increase from its earlier $61.5 billion valuation following a $3.5 billion funding round earlier this year.

The report, citing sources familiar with the matter, indicates that Anthropic is in early discussions for a potential new investment round.

While the Alphabet-backed company is not formally raising funds at this time, investors have approached Anthropic with offers that would value the company at over $100 billion.

Such unsolicited interest has become more common in the current environment, where leading AI startups frequently attract pre-emptive investment offers.

Anthropic’s valuation growth aligns with the rising adoption of its generative AI assistant, Claude, whose annualized revenue reportedly increased from $3 billion to $4 billion within the past month.

In addition to its core chatbot product, the company has launched sector-specific offerings such as “Claude for Financial Services” and an AI coding tool called Claude Code, which has generated more than $200 million in annualized revenue.

The reported valuation puts Anthropic among the most highly valued AI startups globally.

Anthropic has declined to comment on the report.
