Itaconix PLC (AIM:ITX, OTCQB:ITXXF) has expanded its partnership with Croda to supply plant-based ingredients for tackling unpleasant smells in household products, extending a longstanding collaboration and adding a new powder-based formulation aimed at the laundry market.
The AIM-quoted plant-based chemicals company said it would now supply ZINADOR 22D, a dry powder version of its odour neutraliser, alongside two existing liquid products already marketed globally by Croda.
The Itaconix line uses plant-derived polymers designed to trap and neutralise malodorous molecules, offering an alternative to synthetic chemicals in detergents and other home care products.
The new supply deal extends the partnership between the two companies through to at least 2030. It also updates the terms and product specifications to reflect developments in consumer demand and product performance.
"Our collaboration with Croda continues to bring the value of our odour neutralisation technology to more customers around the world," said CEO John Shaw.
"The addition of ZINADOR 22D offers even more opportunities for high-value usage, particularly in powder detergents. I believe the expansion and extension of our partnership with Croda will generate new levels of success in the coming years."
Itaconix and Croda first began working together in 2017, renewing the supply agreement in 2022.
