Titan Minerals Ltd (ASX:TTM) has reported encouraging results from its ongoing surface sampling and drilling at the Dynasty Gold Project in southern Ecuador.
Recent trenching and channel sampling at the Cerro Verde prospect — which hosts the majority of Dynasty’s 3.1-million-ounce gold resource — has returned multiple strong results, including from areas with little to no previous drilling.
Titan says recent drilling continues to highlight wide and continuous gold mineralisation at depth, with efforts now targeting extensions to support future open pit development.
Titan’s CEO Melanie Leighton said: “These latest trench results give us a valuable dataset that can be used to tie in downhole and along strike drill results with surface assay results, which provide strong control on the 3D mineralisation modelling being completed as part of the upcoming mineral resource estimate.”
Exploration is also ramping up, with the company completing a 920-kilometre airborne geophysical survey to refine drill targets across the 9-kilometre gold and copper corridor at Dynasty. Results from that survey are expected within weeks.
