Artrya signs US$600,000 contract with Tanner Health, marks first US revenues

Artrya Ltd (ASX:AYA), an Australian medical technology innovator, has secured its first commercial revenue from the US market, signing a five-year, US$600,000 contract with Tanner Health System.

The agreement marks a significant step in Artrya’s growth strategy as it introduces its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered Salix® Coronary Anatomy platform into the US healthcare sector, a major milestone in the company’s transition to a revenue-generating phase.

US commercial launch

The agreement with Tanner Health will see the Salix® platform integrated into the health system’s network of hospitals and cardiology practices. This includes Tanner Health’s five hospitals and 30 physician practices, where the platform will assist in the near real-time assessment and management of coronary artery disease.

Salix®, which received 510(k) clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in March 2025, is designed to analyse coronary CT scans to detect key biomarkers associated with heart disease. The platform leverages advanced machine learning algorithms to provide clinicians with near real-time, accurate insights, improving the efficiency and precision of coronary artery disease diagnosis.

With this agreement, Artrya is now poised to deliver its first US commercial revenue, representing a major milestone in its journey to scale its operations internationally, according to CEO and co-founder John Konstantopolulos.

“Tanner Health’s decision to adopt Salix® over other technologies highlights the strength of our platform and the trust we’ve built with their clinical teams,” he said.

“Importantly, this collaboration provides a blueprint for future US rollouts as we look to expand the adoption of our platform across hospital networks and prepare for additional product launches.”

Pathway to further growth

Under the terms of the agreement, Tanner Health will pay a monthly software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscription fee for the use of the Salix® Coronary Anatomy platform over the next five years. As Artrya’s platform evolves, the agreement also provides a pathway for additional revenue once the Salix® Coronary Plaque and Salix® Coronary Flow modules receive FDA clearance.

These additional modules are expected to be eligible for US reimbursement under Category 1 Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes, offering further revenue opportunities as they are integrated into Tanner Health’s network.

In addition to the monthly SaaS licence fee, each coronary CT angiogram (CCTA) scan analysed will generate a fee-per-scan revenue once the additional modules are cleared by the FDA.

Tanner Health president and CEO Loy Howard said the company was proud to be the first health system in the US to implement Artrya’s Salix® technology, noting that the companies have partnered closely for more than a year to support clinical and commercial validation across the Tanner Health network.

“At Tanner Health, we are committed to bringing novel technology to support patient care,” he said. “Having considered other technology, we believe Artrya’s Salix® platform, with its AI-powered, user-friendly and near-real-time outcomes, provides our clinicians with another key tool to help detect heart disease earlier and save lives.”

Expanding commercial opportunities

Artrya is also progressing commercial discussions with other US health systems, including Northeast Georgia Health System and Cone Health. With the Salix® Coronary Plaque module expected to receive FDA clearance in the near future, Artrya anticipates additional revenue streams from the expanded platform.

As Artrya expands its footprint in the US market, the company is poised for further growth, actively rolling out its advanced AI-powered solutions to enhance cardiac care.
