Titan Minerals Ltd (ASX:TTM, OTC:TTTNF) has returned a suite of wide, high-grade gold-silver intercepts from surface trenching at the Cerro Verde prospect within its 100%-owned Dynasty Gold Project in southern Ecuador. The results point to a resource update that remains on track for a September 2025 quarterly release as drilling and geophysical modelling continues.
The trenching program has identified strong surface mineralisation across areas with minimal or no previous drilling, providing valuable assay and geological data.
Highlights include 6.4 metres at 2.3 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 12.1 g/t silver (CVT25-009), 4.5 metres at 3.2 g/t gold and 3.5 g/t silver (CVC25-122), and 6.2 metres at 2.0 g/t gold and 20.2 g/t silver (CVC25-104). Drilling and modelling work is ongoing, with two diamond rigs targeting infill and extensional zones ahead of a resource classification upgrade.

“These latest trench results give us a valuable dataset that can be used to tie in downhole and along-strike drill results with surface assay results, which provide strong control on the 3D mineralisation modelling being completed as part of the upcoming mineral resource estimate,” Titan CEO Melanie Leighton said.
“We are pleased to be deploying these low-cost yet highly effective exploration techniques to develop trenches at Dynasty, where outcropping mineralisation lends itself to this simple method of gathering quality information and defining further mineralisation from surface.”
Confirmatory trenching strengthens Cerro Verde resource base
Results from recent infill trench and channel sampling within areas covered by the July 2023 Mineral Resource estimate are expected to enhance the geological and mineralisation model. The data will support a more robust Mineral Resource estimate and improved JORC classification in the upcoming update.
Key assay results include:
- CVC25-122: 4.5 metres at 3.2 g/t Au, 3.5 g/t silver (Ag), associated with shear zone and epithermal veining.
- CVC25-104: 6.2 metres at 2.0 g/t Au, 20.2 g/t Ag, including 0.4 metres at 25.4 g/t Au, 31.3 g/t Ag.
- CVC24-082: 3.7 metres at 2.5 g/t Au, 12.5 g/t Ag, including 0.8 metres at 8.9 g/t Au, 37.9 g/t Ag.
- CVC25-106: 3.4 metres at 2.5 g/t Au, 4.9 g/t Ag.
- CVT25-009: 6.4 metres at 2.3 g/t Au, 12.1 g/t Ag.
- CVT25-010: 12.6 metres at 1.2 g/t Au, 13.0 g/t Ag.
- CVC25-109: 9.8 metres at 1.1 g/t Au, 8.4 g/t Ag.
- CVT25-001: 5.5 metres at 1.8 g/t Au, 5.9 g/t Ag.

Trenches CVT25-009 and CVT25-010 were completed in an area with limited near-surface drilling. These results are expected to enhance the interpretation of mineralisation up-dip from deeper intersections and along strike from previous lateral drilling.
Trench results in relation to drilling at the Kaliman porphyry and Brecha-Comanche prospects. Note that latest trench results have confirmed strong mineralisation from surface in areas with limited shallow (up-dip) drilling and have provided infill assay and geological information in key areas that will facilitate improved resource estimation.
Historical drilling by Titan Minerals in late 2021 intersected mineralisation beneath these trenches, including:
- CVD0371: 6.1 metres at 1.4 g/t Au, 2.5 g/t Ag from 65.9 metres depth.
These new and historical results collectively support improved confidence in mineral continuity and geometry within the resource area.
Diamond drilling and geophysics advancing resource update
The Cerro Verde prospect hosts nearly two-thirds of the 3.1 million ounce Dynasty resource. A 6,000-metre infill drilling program is currently underway using two diamond rigs, aimed at improving confidence in near-surface ounces within and around the Cerro Verde open pit optimisation shell.
In parallel, a 920 line-kilometre mobile magneto-telluric (MMT) survey has been completed across the broader project area. The survey is targeting resistive and conductive anomalies associated with gold-silver veins and porphyry copper systems at prospects including Kaliman, Cola, and La Zanja. Interpretation of the MMT data is expected within the next month.
Reconnaissance mapping extends surface mineralisation trends
Fieldwork across the western extent of Cerro Verde and nearby targets continues to confirm mineralisation in areas supported by soil geochemistry.
Current trenching efforts are focused west of the Brecha-Comanche and Kaliman zones, with additional surface mapping and soil sampling designed to refine future drill targets.
Titan expects further updates on exploration results and resource development as laboratory assays and geophysical interpretations are finalised.
