Race Oncology (ASX:RAC) is gaining global momentum with its cardio-oncology program.
Race has secured Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) approvals for its RC220 Phase 1 clinical trial at two leading hospitals in Hong Kong, The Prince of Wales and Queen Mary Hospitals.
The trial is focused on patients with solid tumours and will evaluate safety, tolerability and how the drug behaves in the body.
Race's Vice President of Medical, Dr Simon Fisher said: “We are delighted to have received human ethics approval for our RC220 Phase 1 trial in Hong Kong with the support of two internationally recognised clinical investigators."
Race is looking to expand the study’s global footprint by bringing in four more hospitals online in South Korea.
