Renascor Resources Ltd managing director David Christensen talked with Proactive about advancing the company’s South Australian exploration strategy, centred on the Marree and Bulloo Creek project areas, supported by a new farm-in agreement with Vintage Exploration and Mining Pty Ltd.
Christensen said the deal significantly expands Renascor’s exploration footprint and gives access to a standout radiometric anomaly within the Marree project. “It really is a standout radiometric anomaly that sticks out like a sore thumb,” he said, describing the newly named Mulgaria prospect, which shows a radioactive response five times greater than the regional average. The area is considered highly prospective for uranium and copper.
He highlighted the strategic location of the Marree project in the Gawler Craton, an area with major deposits including Olympic Dam. The anomaly was identified after the reprocessing of airborne survey data by geophysicist Chris Anderson.
In parallel, Renascor is also progressing high-priority drill targets at Bulloo Creek, with activities underpinned by a strong balance sheet. “We want to drill these drill-ready targets and try to get shareholder value through mineral discoveries,” Christensen added.
