Alkane Resources (ASX:ALK) has reported more promising drill results from its exploration work at the Northern Molong Porphyry Project in central west New South Wales, extending the gold and copper potential at the Boda-Kaiser corridor.
The latest drilling focused on expanding known areas at Boda 2-3, testing new ground at Driell Creek, and exploring other parts of the project. Results have confirmed more high-grade zones, showing this is a large and growing system.
Alkane's MD and CEO Nic Earner said: "Our scoping study results are very positive, particularly at current metal prices, and any further mineralisation discovered will continue to add to the business case."
Looking ahead, Alkane plans to carry out aerial surveys, collect soil samples, and continue drilling — all aimed at narrowing down the best spots for future development.
