The company has secured 100% ownership of Xingxu Mining International Investment Co Ltd, a Hong Kong-based entity holding the Nejo Project, through a binding share purchase agreement with Xingguang Group Ltd. This acquisition delivers Askari full control of a 1,174-square-kilometre tenement situated on the Arabian-Nubian Shield — a prolific geological belt recognised for its multi-million-ounce gold discoveries spanning Egypt, Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

Located in a globally significant gold and copper mineral province, the Nejo Project sits within the same greenstone belt as the 3.4-million-ounce Kurmuk Mine owned by Allied Gold (TSX: AAUC), and directly adjacent to the 1.7-million-ounce Tulu Kapi Mine held by Kefi Gold and Copper (LSE: KEFI). The region remains underexplored, offering Askari significant upside potential through systematic exploration.
