Norsk Titanium signs new industrial and defense contracts

Norsk Titanium (OTCQX:NORSF) said on Tuesday it has signed new contracts with two US government contractors in the Industrial and Defense sectors.

The deals are expected to generate revenue in the second half of 2025, the company said in a statement.

In the Industrial segment, Norsk Titanium received a production order for titanium parts designed for high-temperature applications. The components, ordered by an undisclosed US government contractor, will be used in specialized equipment for the Department of Energy. The company said it anticipates additional recurring orders for part replacements in the coming years.

Separately, a US Department of Defense contractor has placed an order for prototype defense articles following a successful audit of Norsk Titanium’s manufacturing process and facilities in Plattsburgh, New York.

The company’s patented Rapid Plasma Deposition (RPD) technology enables the additive manufacturing of near-net-shape titanium structures, reducing waste and accelerating production timelines.

“These contracts are the result of our strategy and dedicated efforts to broaden our customer portfolio in the Industrial and Defense sectors,” said CEO Carl Johnson. “These customers find the lead times of traditional casting vendors unacceptably long and recognize that our RPD technology offers significant savings in terms of time, energy, and material.”

Norsk Titanium said the new contracts support its efforts to diversify beyond commercial aerospace, where it continues to supply parts to both Airbus and Boeing under existing agreements.
