Porsche AG (ETR:P911) is accelerating its transition to electrified vehicles even as overall sales fell 6% in the first half of 2025, the company revealed on Tuesday.
Electrified cars, including hybrids and fully electric models, made up 36% of total deliveries, a year-on-year increase of 14.5%, highlighting changing consumer preferences amid global trade and economic uncertainty.
The German luxury carmaker delivered 146,391 vehicles worldwide, down 6%.
North America registered growth of 10%, while China, traditionally a key market, saw sales tumble 28% as competition intensified and economic headwinds persisted.
Despite the downturn, Porsche pointed to strong demand for its electric line-up and better product availability as signs of resilience.
