Georgina Energy advances permit process for Hussar

Georgina Energy PLC (LSE:GEX) subsidiary Westmarket Oil & Gas has secured two drilling approvals from the Australian authorities, advancing the Hussar project in Western Australia.

It noted also, that the company has received a formal request for further details on the Hussar Well Management Plan. And, it will now provide casing design and programme specifics, and plans for managing any formation materials brought to surface during drilling, testing or production.

Georgina expects full drilling approval once the additional information is assessed.

Upon approval, the company will repair the Hussar airstrip and access roads, build drilling and camp location pads, and install water wells.
