Krakatoa Resources has kicked off a new diamond drilling campaign at its Mt Clere Project in Western Australia, targeting two high-priority gravity anomalies that could host rare earths and niobium.
The program focuses on both the Jagger and Richards targets at the Stone Tank Prospect, with two 500-metre holes designed to test dense gravity features — believed to be linked to potential carbonatite intrusions.
This drilling is backed by a $220,000 grant from WA’s Exploration Incentive Scheme — helping to de-risk early-stage exploration in this underexplored region.
Executive Chairman of Krakatoa Resources, Colin Locke, said: “We believe both targets are potential intrusive bodies or signatures associated with an intrusive system. The drilling program is expected to take several weeks, and we look forward to keeping shareholders up to date as we progress.”
