Deutsche Bank has nudged up its price target on IP Group PLC (LSE:IPO) from 100p to 114p while reiterating a ‘buy’ rating, pointing to the untapped value in its science and technology holdings.
The shares, which are currently trading at 51p, remain well below the new target, suggesting significant upside if the group can deliver on its ambitions.
At a recent capital markets day, IP Group’s management laid out its investment approach and introduced three portfolio companies spanning cleantech, deeptech and life sciences.
The idea was to show not just the breadth of the portfolio, but its potential to back future technology leaders.
The group has already had success with Hinge Health, now public, and cleantech firm Hysata.
