Amcomri rises on new £12.9m renewable energy contract

Amcomri Group PLC (LSE:AMCO) gained around 7% in Monday’s trade after reporting a new £12.9 million contract with a UK-based renewable energy facilities developer.

The specialist engineer said work will begin shortly and will be carried out over the next two financial years, FY25 and FY26.

The contract will support the group’s current FY25 expectations and may lead to follow-on opportunities in the renewable energy sector, Amcomri said in a statement.

"We are delighted to have secured this significant milestone contract within the renewable energy sector that further reinforces the Group's Embedded Engineering capability and technical service offering, whilst further improving our earnings prospects,” chief executive Hugh Whitcomb said.

In London, Amcomri shares were up just over 7p or 6.99% changing hands at 108.6p.
