Incanthera shares rise 7% after fresh funding accelerates skincare launch

Incanthera PLC (AQSE:INC) shares rose 7% on Monday after the company secured £508,000 to fast-track the launch of its skincare brand, Skin + CELL.

The funding, raised via a share subscription at 3.5p per share, will support the early August debut of the product line, which is being promoted through influencer-led digital marketing and sold via a dedicated e-commerce platform.

The raise included participation from institutional investors, company directors, and management, along with Stuart Robertson, director of the group's skincare arm.

Incanthera also settled £72,000 in debts by issuing just over 2 million shares on the same terms and granted 781,166 share warrants to advisers.

The company said the funding would accelerate commercial plans for its premium dermatology range, originally scheduled for later in the third quarter.

The launch marks a key milestone for the business, which is looking to establish a presence in the growing direct-to-consumer skincare market.

The stock was marked 0.25p higher to 3.75p.
