Shares in Guardian Metal Resources (LSE:GMET) rose 4% on Monday after the company reported high-grade tungsten and gallium mineralisation across multiple zones at its Tempiute project in Nevada.
Recent assays confirmed tungsten trioxide (WO₃) grades of up to 2.66% and gallium concentrations as high as 100 ppm in surface and stockpile samples, with new targets identified through expanded claim staking.
Sampling from the historic Tempiute tailings also showed consistent tungsten and gallium mineralisation, supporting future reprocessing potential.
Additional findings at the Worthington skarn system, 34 km north of Tempiute, included one sample grading 2.66% WO₃ and 2,110 ppm molybdenum.
Guardian said the results confirm the potential for a domestic US tungsten supply and strengthen its portfolio in a historically significant mining district.
The company is now advancing further exploration and metallurgical analysis, while planning near-term processing options for the project’s “truck-ready” ore stockpiles.
The shares rose 1.98p to 55.98p.
