The small cap watch: Green360’s MoU, D3 Energy’s strong gas flows; Antipa Minerals’ assays and RML appoints technical advisor

The Small cap market finished Friday 0.28% higher, with the S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries landing at 3,236.10. Over the course of the five days last week, the index gained 0.41%.

Looking at the news to kick off this week, there have been several good news stories this morning and you can read about the following and more in more detail throughout the day.

1. Green360 signs MoU with PERMAcast to develop low-carbon wall blocks

Green360 Technologies Ltd, via its wholly owned subsidiary Climate Tech Cement Pty Ltd (CTC), has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Permacast R&D Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Western Australian precast concrete specialist PERMAcast (Polevine Pty Ltd). The collaboration aims to jointly develop and commercialise low-carbon retaining wall blocks, aligning with both companies' decarbonisation objectives.

2. Lightning Minerals to acquire Lotus Minerals and two copper-gold projects in Queensland and NSW

Lightning Minerals Ltd (ASX: L1M) has entered into a binding agreement to acquire 100% of Lotus Minerals Pty Ltd, along with two advanced brownfields exploration assets in Queensland and New South Wales.

The proposed acquisition includes the Mt Turner Projects in Queensland and the Lachlan Fold Copper Porphyry Project in New South Wales—both considered highly prospective for gold and copper.

Through the transaction, Lightning Minerals will secure access to near-term, drill-ready targets in regions with a history of mining activity and promising exploration results. The Company views the acquisition as a strategic move to establish a foothold in the robust gold and copper markets, capitalising on favourable commodity outlooks and strong underlying asset potential.

3. D3 Energy delivers strong gas flows at ER315 pilot in South Africa

D3 Energy Ltd has reported a production update from its multi-well testing program at the ER315 permit in South Africa’s Free State province. Key results include:

  • The RBD03 well delivered an average gas flow rate of 194 thousand standard cubic feet per day (Mscfd) over a 14-day period
  • This represents a 32% increase on pre-cleanout flow rates

The results will contribute to D3’s maiden reserve certification and forthcoming Production Right application.

4. Antipa Minerals returns assay results from Minyari drilling campaign

Antipa Minerals Ltd has released assay results from the first 66 drill holes completed as part of the CY2025 Phase 1 campaign at its 100%-owned Minyari Gold-Copper Project in the Paterson Province, Western Australia. The results form part of an ongoing program designed to expand mineral resources and support project development planning.

5. Resolution Minerals’ new technical advisor

Resolution Minerals Ltd has appointed Austin Zinsser, P.G., as Technical Advisor to support exploration and development activities at the Horse Heaven antimony-gold-silver-tungsten project in Idaho, United States. Zinsser brings technical expertise aligned with the company’s strategy to unlock the project’s polymetallic potential.
