Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd (TSX-V:SCZ, OTC:SZSMF) announced that it has qualified to trade on the OTCQX Best Market, upgrading from the OTCQB Venture Market.
Effective Thursday, the company’s shares will trade on the OTCQX under the ticker symbol “SCZMF.”
“This graduation will strengthen our access to U.S. investors and increase liquidity, which is one of Santacruz's key focuses this year. In addition, gaining access to the OTCQX highlights our commitment to transparency and operational excellence,” Santacruz CEO Arturo Préstamo said.
“As we continue to advance our strategy, trading on the OTCQX will support our goal of building a leading silver and base metals producer in Latin America while providing long-term value to our shareholders.”
The company’s shares will continue to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the ticker symbol “SCZ” and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “1SZ.”
Santacruz's US-listed shares gained 5.4% on Thursday morning, while its Canadian-listed shares were up 2.6%.
