Bluebird Mining Ventures (LSE:BMV) shares surged in Thursday morning’s dealings as it told investors it has begun preparations for a potential premium-priced equity raise, which will pitch for at least £10 million.
This injection will support a combined physical gold and Bitcoin strategy, Bluebird said.
Work to draft a prospectus is underway, it told investors in a stock market statement. The documentation could be completed within eight weeks, subject to FCA approval, it added.
Multiple offers of equity funding have been received at a premium to the current share price, and Bluebird added that its also exploring a potential listing on the US Nasdaq OTCQB.
In London, Bluebird Mining shares are up 22% in early deals, changing hands at 1.71p, and reached as high as 2p earlier.
