Evion Group has sealed a new export deal, which will see its first shipment of expandable graphite to the United States.
The shipment of 80 metric tonnes—will be supplied over the next two months from Evion’s joint venture facility in Pune, India, called Panthera Graphite.
The order is expected to generate around 400 thousand Australian dollars in revenue.
This marks Evion’s maiden delivery into the US market, further strengthening its position as a non-Chinese supplier of critical minerals, and positions Evion as an emerging supplier to key international markets looking to diversify from Chinese sources.
Evion's Managing Director David Round said: "We believe this is likely to be the first of many future orders and we look forward to updating the market shortly around our planned, substantial growth and development plans in India."
