Solis Minerals Ltd CEO Mitch Thomas talked with Proactive about the company’s diamond drilling progress at its 100%-owned Chancho al Palo copper-gold prospect in Peru.
Thomas explained that the first drill hole, completed to 713m in June 2025, intersected promising signs of mineralisation. He said early observations are consistent with the characteristics of fertile copper-gold deposits typical of the region.
He noted that mineralisation began around 184m and visual gold was observed at approximately 620m, offering an encouraging start to the exploration campaign. “This first drill hole has been very encouraging,” Thomas emphasised. However, he acknowledged that the visual indicators need to be confirmed through assay analysis, expected in July and August.
Thomas also provided an overview of the broader project pipeline, highlighting Solis’ three advancing projects, all of which are fully owned by the company. He said the combination of early drilling results and a strong project portfolio could generate a significant news flow for investors throughout 2025.
