Avon Technologies PLC (LSE:AVON) said it had won a new £10.2 million order from the UK Ministry of Defence for FM50 respirators to be given to the armed forces of Ukraine.
The respirator provides full-face protection against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats.
Avon said the order will be delivered in the next financial year, ending September 2026, adding to its "strong order book".
Analysts at Peel Hunt noted that orders related to Ukraine have "materially contributed to order intake and revenue growth" over the past two years, underpinning 12% group organic growth in the first half of the current year.
"While clearly supportive, we do not expect this order to impact our current forecasts, which assume 7% group organic growth and an adjusted operating margin of 15.6% for FY26E," they added.
Avon shares rose 1% to top 1,827p, their highest since late 2021.
