Shares in Pri0r1ty Intelligence Group surged 27 per cent following the company’s announcement that it has formally adopted a Bitcoin Treasury Management Policy.
The London-listed AI services firm for small and medium-sized businesses is now holding Bitcoin alongside cash as part of its corporate treasury.
The company has integrated cryptocurrency payment options into its onboarding process via Coinbase Commerce, allowing customers to pay with Bitcoin and stablecoins.
Any non-Bitcoin crypto payments received will be converted into Bitcoin or cash within three days.
Pri0r1ty plans to limit Bitcoin holdings to no more than half of its surplus cash and will appoint an independent manager to oversee Bitcoin assets exceeding £1 million.
This move signals growing corporate acceptance of cryptocurrencies as a financial tool.
