Sprintex CEO and managing director Jay Upton talked with Proactive about the company’s renewed five-year distribution agreement with Net 0 Enerji in Turkey. This contract not only doubles the minimum sales value from $5 million to $10 million, but also validates the efficiency of Sprintex’s energy-saving technology.
Upton explained that Net 0 Enerji, which specialises in energy-saving systems, has been a critical partner. “That product is reliable, can save more than 50% energy in almost any situation,” he said, underscoring the alignment between Sprintex's offerings and Net 0 Enerji’s mission.
The deal is also buoyed by new Turkish government incentives aimed at accelerating the adoption of energy-efficient technologies. Upton noted that the subsidies and grants now available help overcome the cost barrier for replacing older systems in a price-sensitive market.
In addition to the commercial expansion, Sprintex is broadening its product portfolio. Upton announced the launch of new high-capacity jet blowers—specifically the G 25 and G 37 models—with even larger units expected by year-end, capable of reaching up to 110kW. These will enable the company to serve more expansive applications like municipal wastewater treatment, a sector Upton called a “massive industry” with global relevance.
The larger models command higher unit prices and open up new revenue opportunities while reducing the volume of units required for profitability. Upton said this shift allows Sprintex to evolve from serving niche segments to addressing broader market demands.
