Ajax Resources PLC (AQSE:AJAX) on Wednesday sealed its move onto the AQSE Growth Market, alongside a £1 million raise.
Proceeds from the funding, announced yesterday, are earmarked to support planned work at the company’s recently acquired Eureka Gold and Copper Project in Argentina.
Ajax chief executive Ippolito Ingo Cattaneo highlighted that the board participated in the equity raise, taking up some £330,000 of the shares.
"Ajax's admission to the Aquis Stock Exchange as a natural resources investment company, following the completion of the acquisition of the Eureka Gold and Copper Project, marks a significant milestone for the company as we enter an exciting new phase in Ajax's development,” Cattaneo said.
“We are pleased to have successfully raised £1 million, complementing our existing financial resources.”
Ajax shares, at the same time, are delisted from the London Stock Exchange.
