Aram Palms and Cordiant launch Riyadh-based agriculture investment venture

Aram Palms Company and the Cordiant Group have signed a memorandum of understanding to form a private equity venture headquartered in Riyadh, aimed at expanding agricultural investments and enhancing food security across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf.

The new entity, Cordiant Aram Palms Middle East Private Equity Company, will serve as Cordiant’s regional headquarters in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The partnership is designed to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy by channelling investment into permanent crop funds and cold-chain infrastructure.

Aram Palms, a Saudi investment firm, will lead local fundraising and regulatory processes, while London-based Cordiant, which specialises in agricultural value chains, will manage international fundraising, due diligence, and investment execution.

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Saud, chairman of Aram Palms, said: “This strategic partnership represents a significant milestone for agricultural investments for the region.

"By joining forces with Cordiant Group, we position Saudi Arabia as a key player in the global fresh fruit value chain, ensuring long-term sustainability and food security.”

A binding agreement is expected to follow shortly.
