Peninsula Energy nears Lance Project restart as reset plan gains momentum

Peninsula Energy nears Lance Project restart as reset plan gains momentum

Peninsula Energy Ltd (ASX:PEN, OTCQB:PENMF) is making significant strides with its reset plan at the Lance Project in Wyoming, moving closer to restarting operations.

Phase II construction of the Central Processing Plant is nearing completion, with hot commissioning scheduled for later this month. The company is also in advanced talks to secure short-term debt funding to support final restart activities.

As part of the reset, Peninsula has mutually terminated three uranium sales contracts totalling 1.95 million pounds over eight years, removing delivery obligations and associated liabilities.

In a further milestone, Peninsula has resolved a dispute with EPC contractor Samuel EPC via a US$1.25 million settlement, enabling construction to proceed smoothly.

With strong interest from funding partners and continued progress across key workstreams, Peninsula is positioning the Lance Project for a sustainable return to production. The company aims to re-engage with customers once a consistent output is achieved.
